Backstory

Let's face it, your bathroom probably needs an upgrade.

Meet UpHome, a tech and service start-up based in Texas bringing renovation solutions to your home.

They came to Cine Salon seeking a go to market content and pay per click solution.

how we did it —

Our first thought was, "how do we make thinking about your bathroom relevant?" to the average homeowner.

Induce pain. The sight of an old and ugly bathroom in a place everyone spends more than 70 hours a year was enough to get people clicking.

We built an entire set, dramatizing the home experience of being in an aged bathroom.

We also showcased the sleek look and feel of the UpHome product.

Beyond the studio we also filmed a series of bottom of funnel interviews and product shots at their manufacturer in Texas.

To make the series of videos pop on social we shot it in the style of retro nostalgic infomercials. If prospects were going to watch an ad we wanted to make sure they knew it and stuck around, playing into the Harmon Bros style of cheesy but effective.

Beyond the hero spot, we created over 40 retargeting assets, call center audio, and banner ads.

Results

We were able to help UpHome product market test, price test, and determine the best cities to launch in saving them time and money.

They were able to quickly go to market and were acquired in a short period after launch, scoring a huge return on investment.
